This stuff is wonderful – for you AND your dog! It is a thick, rich balm that is very soothing to extremely dry skin.
Recently, one of my senior dogs developed hyperkeratosis (a dry nose in dogs that results in bumps of skin developing on the top of their nose, which is not only unsightly, but it also affects their sense of smell). After consulting with my veterinarian, I began applying the Paw & Elbow Balm to her nose twice per day. Within 2 weeks, all of the bumps were gone and her nose looks normal! Wow! So impressed! I apply it regularly to her nose now (once per day) to ensure that the condition doesn’t develop again.
