Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup Fresh Blood Orange Olive Oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup buttermilk
- Zest of 2 blood oranges
- Juice of 1 blood orange
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, beat together sugar, Fresh Blood Orange Olive Oil, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with buttermilk. Begin and end with the dry ingredients.
- Fold in the blood orange zest and juice.
- Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
