Ingredients:
- 1 whole turkey (size according to your needs)
- 1/2 cup Temecula Olive Oil Company’s California Mission Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
- Zest of 1 orange and 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
- In a small bowl, mix California Mission Extra Virgin Olive Oil, rosemary, thyme, citrus zest, salt, and pepper to create a marinade.
- Rub the turkey with the marinade, making sure to get it under the skin for more flavor.
- Place the turkey on a rack in a roasting pan. Pour chicken broth into the pan.
- Roast the turkey, basting with pan juices every 30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let the turkey rest before carving.
